We offer RMCAO concrete plant audits as a qualified RMCAO-approved professional engineering firm.
The goal of any concrete plant is to be able to service any and all customers in the Mississauga, Ontario area. If that includes providing concrete products and services for a provincial or municipal government project, you’ll need to jump through a few hoops. For example, your facility must become certified, which involves having RMCAO concrete plant audits completed every two years by a qualified RMCAO-approved professional engineering firm.
At Belanger Engineering, we offer RMCAO concrete plant audits in the required two-part process, namely Part A and Part B. The Ready Mix Concrete Association of Ontario (RMCAO) Technical Committee worked in conjunction with Ontario Provincial Standards Specifications (OPSS) and the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) to develop this certification process, which involves passing both parts of the audit.
Part A involves an inspection of your facility, concrete mixing equipment, and concrete delivery vehicles. We need to be sure they meet the minimum qualifications per Canadian Standards Association A23.1-14 – Concrete Materials and Methods of Concrete Construction, and A23.2-14 – Methods of Test and Standard Practices for Concrete. Part B of RMCAO concrete plant audits is the ECO portion. This part of the audit involves being sure that you are committed to exceeding minimum environmental requirements.
If you have questions about RMCAO concrete plant audits or would like to schedule one for your concrete plant so that you can become certified to serve municipal and/or provincial government projects or renew your certification every two years, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
At Belanger Engineering, we perform RMCAO concrete plant audits in the GTA, as well as Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Hamilton, Guelph, Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, Burlington, Oakville, Markham, and Ajax, Ontario.
